Tata Motors Tata Motors has announced to introduce its new EV CAR Tata Tiago EV in its Electric Vehicle (EV) market.
On the occasion of World EV Day 2022, Tata Motors said that the company will launch the new Tiago EV in the coming times. Tata Motors currently has Nexon EV and Tigor EV in its EV fleet.
Certainly like the ICE version, the Tiago EV will be the company’s cheapest electric car in the portfolio.
As we mentioned, Tata Motors had showcased the Tiago EV hatchback at the 2018 Auto Expo, but the company first launched the Nexon EV compact SUV and the Tigor EV compact sedan.
At present, the company has not given any information about the specifications of the Tiago EV, but we are expecting that the company will use Ziptron technology in this car like the current lineup.
In terms of design too, it could be similar to the current ICE version with a few changes, as we have seen in the Nexon EV and Tigor EV.
Let us tell you that on the occasion of World EV Day, Mahindra also introduced its Tata Nexon EV rival – XUV400 to the world. Its launch can happen during January 2023. This electric car will give a great long range of 456 km and its top speed is said to be 150 kmph.
